How can I redeem my CME Certificate from CME University?

CME/CE/CEU credit for this activity is provided by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and Save a Life by NHCPS. Certificates of Completion are issued digitally through CME University.

1. Log in to your Advanced Medical Certification account, then go to the My Completed Courses tab. Locate the course you completed and click the "Redeem Certificate" button. Please check the photo below as an example:

   

2. Below the "Redeem Certificate" button, you will find brief instructions on how to download your certificate. The short instructions will also include the course code for the course you completed.

3. You may also manually enter the course code from the course you completed to download your certificate. Simply copy the course code and paste it into the “Claim CME Credits: Post Test/Evaluation” search box on the CME University website.

   

4. After clicking the “Redeem Certificate” button, you will be redirected to the CME University website, where you can download your certificate for the course. Once you click the course, you will be redirected to a page where you can create a new account or log in using your existing CME University username and password.
5. (Important: Please take note of your username/password for CME University, as it is separate from your AMC Login)

Here's how to register for a new account:

1. Click 'Register' on the log-in page, then complete your personal information.

(Note: Anesthesiologist and pharmacist credit types must provide ABA and NABP numbers, respectively.)

2. Choose your profession (e.g., MD, Other, RN) and other important information, then click "Next" until you complete Step 3 of the registration process.

3. After successfully creating an account, review your information. Then click the 'Click Here To Verify Your Email ID' button.

4. After clicking the 'Click Here To Verify Your Email ID' button, a notification will appear on your account.

5. Check your email and look for a similar email provided below. Click the 'Verify Me' button, then sign in to your account.

6. Go back to your Advanced Medical Certification account and navigate to the My Completed Courses tab. Locate the course you completed and click the "Redeem Certificate" button. This time, you should be redirected to the course page in CME University while you are logged in to your CME University account.

If you are not automatically redirected, you can manually enter the course code from the course you completed to download your certificate. Simply copy the course code and paste it into the “Claim CME Credits: Post Test/Evaluation” search box on the CME University website.

7. After clicking the “Redeem Certificate” button or typing the correct course code into the “Claim CME Credits: Post Test/Evaluation” search box, you will be redirected to the CME University page, where you can download your certificate for the course.

8. Answer the evaluation, then click "Done." 

9. Then, you will be redirected to a page informing you that you have passed the test. Click the  "Next" button.

10. Click the "Download Certificate" button

11. Upon registering and successfully completing the activity evaluation, your certificate will be available immediately. Here's an example of what your certificate will look like. Click "Export to PDF" to download your CME Certificate.
